Welcome Social
Join us for the welcome social on Wednesday, September 20 from 5:00-8:00 pm. The social is sponsored by the city of Bismarck and will be held at Gateway to Science. This is a great opportunity to network with other city leaders and our sponsors and vendors.

Busing will be provided between the host hotels and Gateway to Science. There is also ample parking.

Founded in 1994, North Dakota’s Gateway to Science opened its new building on March 4, 2023. The science center welcomed more than 23,000 visitors in its first two months. The 43,000 sf facility includes hands-on exhibit galleries featuring major North Dakota industries and resources including, energy, agriculture, health care, transportation, water, weather, and engineering. The building also houses an education wing with a lab and classrooms, offices with conference room, and innovation space for programs and events. The center serves as the hub for Gateway to Science on the Go which delivers hands-on STEM programming to schools throughout North Dakota.
