Make Your City’s Voice Heard

Each year during the NDLC Annual Conference, member cities come together for the Annual Business Session — a cornerstone event where members help shape the direction of the organization.

During this session, NDLC member cities:

• Adopt policy resolutions that guide the League’s advocacy and policy work for the coming year
• Elect members to serve on the NDLC Executive Board

This gathering ensures every community has a voice in setting priorities that impact cities across North Dakota.

Voting Delegates

Each member city is allowed voting delegates based on population:

• • 1-999 …………. 1 delegate
  • 1,000-4,999 ……2 delegates
  • 5,000-9,999 ……3 delegates
  • 10,000-29,999 …4 delegates
  • 30,000-49,999 …5 delegates
  • 50,000 or more …6 delegates

Both delegates and non-delegates are invited to attend and observe the business meeting. Only delegates are able to participate in the discussion and to vote during the business meeting.
