Bismarck, N.D. — September 22, 2025 — Beach Auditor Kimberly Gaugler has been honored with the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award by the North Dakota League of Cities (NDLC) at its Annual Conference in Bismarck.

Beach City Auditor Kimberly (Kim) Gaugler was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for more than 31 years of dedicated service to her community. Appointed city auditor in April 1994, Gaugler has led with integrity, fiscal stewardship, and a genuine devotion to Beach.
She has been an active leader in civic and professional organizations, serving with the Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the Municipal Finance Officers Association of North Dakota. Her peers statewide also recognized her leadership as she served as President of the NDLC Executive Board.
Gaugler’s vision for community vitality is reflected in projects such as the Beach Farmers Market Pavilion in Gazebo Park—an inviting public gathering place that earned the 2023 Healthy, Vibrant Community Award. She also successfully managed large accessible financial resources to modernize the community’s wastewater infrastructure—protecting residents while safeguarding local finances.
“Kim Gaugler exemplifies the highest standards of public service and fiscal responsibility,” said Gardner. “Her long-term commitment and strategic leadership have been instrumental in shaping a resilient, vibrant community in Beach.”
The award was presented during the NDLC’s 2025 Annual Conference, held September 17–19 at the Bismarck Event Center.
