Preparing City Leaders for the Legislative Session

Every two years, in December of even-numbered years, city leaders from across North Dakota gather in Bismarck for the Biennial Legislative Workshop. This important event helps municipal officials stay informed, engaged, and ready to represent their communities during the upcoming legislative session.

Workshop attendees will:

• Attend the Governor’s Budget Address at the North Dakota Capitol

• Hear presentations on key policy topics affecting local government
• Gain insight into the legislative process and how to advocate effectively for their cities

The Biennial Legislative Workshop is an opportunity to connect, learn, and lead — strengthening the collective voice of North Dakota communities.
