Jim Neubauer has served as the City Administrator for the city of Mandan since 2000. Prior joining the city, he spent fourteen years with the North Dakota Office of State Tax Commissioner in the Individual Income Tax and Corporate Income Tax areas. He serves as a liaison to the Mandan Growth Fund, Visitors Committee and Civil Service Commission. In addition, Jim serves on the following boards, Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau, Morton County - City of Mandan Combined Law Enforcement Center Advisory Board, Lewis & Clark Regional Development Council, Bismarck-Mandan Mayor's for People with Disabilities and as a trustee on the Mandan Remediation Trust. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Jamestown College. Jim represents cities over 2,500 in the southwest region.
