Elected Officials Training Program

Supporting Local Leaders. Strengthening North Dakota Cities.
The North Dakota League of Cities developed the Elected Officials Training to help city leaders build the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to serve their communities effectively. Through this program, the NDLC is committed to empowering North Dakota communities by supporting informed decision-making, strengthening local leadership, and providing trusted education that helps cities lead with confidence and serve residents well.
About the Program
The Elected Officials Training Program is delivered through Lessonly/Seismic, a flexible, web-based learning platform that allows participants to complete courses on their own schedule.
The program includes four courses featuring lessons, quizzes, and reference materials. Upon completion, learners receive a completion certificate for their records. Courses can be completed at your own pace.
Learners retain access to completed course materials for ongoing reference and continued learning.
Upon completion of all four courses, participants will receive a certificate of completion. In addition, the training is worth four Leadership Training Program (LTP) credits. Participants must enroll in the LTP before completing the training to receive credit.
