Connecting City Leaders

Connect with experienced city auditors who understand the responsibilities, questions, and day-to-day challenges that come with the role. The Mentor Exchange Program provides a list of seasoned auditors who are available to serve as a resource for newer auditors looking for practical guidance, insight, and peer support. It is a simple way to build connections, strengthen confidence, and help new city auditors navigate their responsibilities with trusted support from others who were also once a new auditor.

How It Works
Experienced city leaders have volunteered to serve as mentors. Review the list below and connect directly — it’s that simple.

Lisa is the auditor for the city of Taylor and the city administrator for Lincoln and uses Banyon Data software. Call Lisa at (701) 260-3902

Ronda is the auditor for the city of Ray and uses Black Mountain software for accounting, payroll, utility billing, and budget prep. Call Ronda at (701) 568-2204.

Sarah is the auditor and city administrator for Jamestown and is experience is in agreements, ordinances, legislation, policies and procedures, solid waste management, public works, public transit and transportation management, bonding, budgeting, auditing (programs & finance), emergency management (planning, preparedness, response and mitigation), personnel management, facility and land management, mediation, negotiation, and city administration.
