Regional Listening Sessions
Connecting with Communities Across North Dakota
Each summer, the North Dakota League of Cities team travels across the state to meet with city officials face-to-face. These Regional Listening Sessions are a cornerstone of NDLC’s commitment to staying connected, listening to member needs, and ensuring that every community’s voice helps shape the future of local government in North Dakota.
Held in June or July, the sessions take place in six cities across the state and provide an opportunity for open discussion, collaboration, and shared learning.
- In odd-numbered years, NDLC staff provide updates on the legislative session and its impact on cities.
- In even-numbered years, staff gather feedback from city officials about current challenges and priorities to help develop NDLC’s policy agenda.
These sessions are free to attend and open to all city officials and staff. Registration is required for planning purposes.
