Training and Certification Opportunities

Required by state law (NDCC 40-16-03.18), this certification ensures city auditors meet essential professional standards within one year of taking office. The program follows an NDLC-approved curriculum and is available for $180 for all six courses or $30 per course.

The program includes four courses featuring lessons, quizzes, and reference materials. Upon completion, learners receive a completion certificate for their records. Courses can be completed at your own pace. The program is available for $120 for all four courses or $30 per course.

Open to city staff, elected, and appointed officials, the LTP encourages continuous learning through NDLC-hosted education and training. Enrollment is free, but required to earn credits toward recognition.
